18 months and a merry Christmas!
Hey Lil Bug,
It’s New Years’ Eve, and you are enjoying your first nap of the day. Despite both of our tummy bugs, and Ma being too ill to join us, we have had a good Christmas. Nice and chilled Christmas Day, and fun with the family on Boxing Day. So many people to get cuddles from!
Nanny Flo requested photos for your gift opening, so we made a video for everyone to enjoy, and see you opening your gifts. Thank you Alie, John, Nanny & Grandad!
We measured you the other day, and we have you at 2 and a half feet tall. You are catching up with Daddy. We have been advised to measure you at 2 and a half years old and then double it, and that is how tall you will be. Hopefully you will be tall like me.

Lara is 17 months today!
Hey Lara,
We are having such fun with you. We bought you a beanbag for Christmas, I brought it home from work, Daddy was supposed to hide it, although we popped it in the front room and you fell in love with it, so we had to give it to you early.
You are walking everywhere now. Brushing your own teeth, feeding yourself with your spoon. You actually get rather defensive if we try and take it off you. Ha ha.
You babble full sentences, however I’m afraid we are still not quite sure what you are saying. However, you have nailed “Dada”, “Mama”, “Yep”, “No”, “Pick up”, “Who’s that?” and “GO!”.
Unfortunately you have a chest infection at the moment, so we are giving you antibiotics and a brown inhaler. So much so young! You sound awful!
You make us both laugh every day. You’re amazing! The things you say, the faces you pull and the things you do. Ha ha! You are such an amazing little girl.

Lara Loves Walking – Episode 2
Hey Larabug
I haven’t blogged for you for a while but that does not mean I have forgotten about you, I have simply been having to much fun seeing you grow and become a very independent young lady.
So what’s been happening? Well YOU CAN WALK yes you read that right your more on your feet then your not, your more confident on carpet then you are on the laminate but you love walking and shouting your random babblings

Lara Loves Cornwall
Hey Lil Bug,
We had an awesome week in Cornwall as a family.
Went to the beach where we had our wedding photos. We bought you a wet suit and you loved playing in the sand with your bucket and spade.
We enjoyed a great day at Eden Project. The weather was beautiful, and you enjoyed looking at all the different plants and birds.
We took you swimming for the first time, and you weren’t too sure .But look forward to trying again another time when you are not too tired and hungry, and waiting in the cafe for an hour and a half. Grr!
The place we were staying was a tad small for the three of us, but it was only for a week so we made it work.
There was a storm for the last 2 days, so we were limited as to what we could do. But got out and about when we could. We reckon you had a good time.

Lara Nailing Feeding Herself
Hey Lil Bug,
High five! You have started to insist on feeding yourself. We are so proud of you! You are getting more and more independent. Wanting to do more for yourself. It’s amazing to watch. Our hearts are brimming with pride.
It takes you a bit longer, but seeing you concentrating so hard and enjoying yourself. You also like to throw it about it. Ha ha! So we got you a coverall to protect your clothes.
