Hey Lara,
Today you felt totally ready to learn how to crochet. We had had loads of screen time and decided to take a break…and, within about half an hour you nailed and created this from the beginning!

Hey Lil Bug,
You did an amazing thing today. You only went to complete your Level 2 swimming! Yay! As soon as Charlie has space in his Level 3 class, you can move up and learn loads more swimming skills!
To celebrate, as we do now, FONDUE!!

Can you believe you were 6 years and 9 months old before you got your first hair cut? You hair is super-long! In the bath it goes down bum crack.

You FINALLY did it! You finally had the courage to put your face in the water while swimming, which was the final thing you needed to do to get to level 2! It’s took you nearly 2 years of lessons, but you finally got there…with Daddy’s promise of new flipflops and 2 sets of goggles.
Today was the day. We tried at the beginning of the summer holidays but I don’t think you were ready, today we decided to give it another try. Within 30 minutes you had nailed it! You took a shoe away to practice in your room. Now you are desperate for shoes with laces.
Well done Lil Bug!

You lost your first tooth today!
The tooth fairy visited you at right, and you found a white chocolate coin and a real coin!
On Thursday of this week your first tooth became wobbly! We are all very excited!
You don’t know if you are going to get a real coin or a chocolate coin. We will just have to wait and see what she’s brings you.
Love,
Mummy x
The summer holidays went by so fast. It didn’t help that I caught COVID half way through our week off together and I was locked away from you and Daddy for 12 days. That wasn’t fun.
On a more positive note, you really enjoyed your first day back. You told us you did Science and Maths, and Maths is still your favourite subject at school.
It’s PE day today, so gope you have fun doing that. It is VERY warm today but confident you will still enjoy yourself.
Love
Mummy x

Hey Bug,
We got your report and it was amazing! Apart from some notes from your teacher saying you interrupt quite a bit, and sometimes struggle to get what’s on the board down. But, hey, we relish in the awesome and improve everything else right?
We decided to celebrate with with a chocolate fondue! Lots of tasty things to dip, and two kids of chocolate. It’s was really yummy.
You did good kids. Let’s have a great Year 2!
Love,
Mama x
