    HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY LIL BUG!

    You really enjoyed your birthday. Your birthday was on a Monday, so we did things over the weekend before. You got loads of lovely presents and card. We got you Heely’s and Minecraft Lego.

    On the Saturday, we took you and your friend Kyla to do mini golf and pizza, then a walk around the lake and a play in the park. You guys had a great time. You then came back home for some cupcakes and a play. Kyla didn’t want to leave! On the Sunday we had a BBQ at your Nanny & Grandad’s with the family.

    Happy 6th birthday Lil Bug!

    We had an amazing one this year. We took you to Go Ape to do the Tree Top Adventure and your loved it!

    We came up with you alone with Jayden, and we had an amazing time. 

    Auntie Debbie, Uncle Jay, Nanny and Grandad were in the ground watching our progress and taking photos.

    We were so proud of you! You were completely fearless and tackled every obstacle like a rock star. You’re amazing!

  • Happy 5th birthday Lil Bug

    Happy 5th birthday Lil Bug

    Happy 5th birthday! 

    You have been very excited about the turning 5. It makes you feel very grown up and ready to tackle anything!

    This year we chose to celebrate your birthday with a sleepover with your friend Chloe. Chloe is very different to you. Unfortunately we found her to be very rude, bossy, messy and destructive. Daddy and I didn’t really enjoy ourselves as she was a real handful. You didn’t really enjoy Chloe messing with your things. When you’re old enough, we will be happy to give you more information.

    You asked for a fluffy unicorn pen for your birthday, and thankfully I managed to find exactly that, and you were really happy with it. We also got you a crafts box and an outdoor ball game set.

    Unfortunately because we had our hands so full trying to control Chloe we didn’t get any photos. But we did manage to get this one with your balloons.

    We were so proud of how well you behaved in spite of her behaviour.

  • Happy 4th Birthday Lil Bug!

    4! You know what that means? School!

    You had an awesome day at Lyndsey’s, and later on, we arranged a little party for you with the family. 

    We got you balloons, UNICORN balloons! A unicorn birthday cake. You got so many lovely gifts from everyone. Mostly unicorn, rainbow or glitter-themed, but you loved them all.

  • Happy 3rd Birthday Lil Bug

    Hey Lil Bug,

    It’s your birthday today! You’re 3. 3! How time has flown.

    You are beautiful, smart and hilarious!

    We are still in the throws of a COVID-19 pandemic so your Daddy and I threw you a party just the three of us, and it was great! No stress! Well…maybe a little getting your decorations up before you for back from your walk with Daddy whilst I set up. You love Paw Patrol so get a whole theme going. Balloons, plates, cups, decorations and a birthday cake.

    You have lots of new toys to keep your happy for a while. Considering it’s been over 30° heat today, you coped really well. Kinda like how it was when you were born.

    Your Daddy and I shared the photos and videos we took of you throughout the day, and that made us smile, laugh and marval at your smile, your gorgeousness and your wicked sense of humour.

    We love you so much and kind giving ourselves a high-five for keeping you alive this long. Ha ha. 😂

  • Happy 2nd Birthday Lara

    Hey Lara,

    Can’t believe we are celebrating your 2nd birthday already! Time has flown by.

    Daddy took the day off work to make your day even more special. As soon as I got home, and your cousin, auntie and grandparents arrived, we cracked open the BBQ, as well as your presents and card. Everyone has been very generous.

    Happy 1st Birthday Lara!

    Hey Lara,

    Your Daddy and I can’t quite believe a year has gone by already. So fast! You have learned so much!

    You have mostly nailed (in no particular order):

    • No longer needing a dummy
    • Eating solid food
    • Walking with a walker
    • Crawling
    • Growing
    • Drinking from a sippy cup
    • Saying “Mama” and “Dada”
    • Sitting up
    • Finger food
    • Sleeping in your own room
    • Sleeping through the night

    …and these are just the things I remember as I type this.

    We had a great day out in Brighton. It was warm and it was a clear day.

    Here’s to many more years.
