Lara Loves Her Swing
Hey Lara,
Our awesome little girl enjoying one of her birthday presents. With the vouchers we asked for from friends and family, we bought you a swing and slide for the garden, and a ballpit for inside. You really like your swing. I was lucky enough to catch a video with the three of us, and Nismo chilling behind us.

Happy 1st Birthday Lara!
Hey Lara,
Your Daddy and I can’t quite believe a year has gone by already. So fast! You have learned so much!
You have mostly nailed (in no particular order):
- No longer needing a dummy
- Eating solid food
- Walking with a walker
- Crawling
- Growing
- Drinking from a sippy cup
- Saying “Mama” and “Dada”
- Sitting up
- Finger food
- Sleeping in your own room
- Sleeping through the night
…and these are just the things I remember as I type this.
We had a great day out in Brighton. It was warm and it was a clear day.
Here’s to many more years.

Spotty Lara
Hey Lara,
Bad news, you seem to have developed a rash all over your body, but worse on your face.
We are happy to say that we went to the doctor, and it’s a viral rash that is not contagious, painful, itchy or bothering you in any way. You are still the same Lil Bug.
The spots do look awful though.
The photo doesn’t do it justice. It’s really red. Everyone thinks you have chicken pox.
Don’t worry. Daddy and I still give you loads of cuddles and play with you just as much as before.

11 Months Old Today
Hey Lara Bug,
Only one more month to go and you are celebrating your first birthday! How exciting!
Neither you or us like fuss and loads of people, so we decided to spend your birthday in Brighton. We wanted to a have a day just our family by the sea.
We may have some time in the evening for your grandparents, your cousin and and your aunties / uncles to come and give you cuddles of celebration.
You are crawling around like a mad thing at the moment. Pulling yourself up on furniture, toys even your Mama and Papa Bug! We love it as your face is always full of smiles and love.
We are so excited. Papa Bug can’t believe how quickly time has passed. It’s been an amazing 11 months.

Happy Easter Lara!
Hey Lara,
We have just come to the end of your first Easter. Unfortunately Papa Bug was working for most of it, only able to have Sunday off, but we had a nice relaxed afternoon before heading off to your grandparents for dinner.
I couldn’t resist but to taking some photos of you looking cute. I’m sure you will do the same when you have kids of your own.
Back to work tomorrow, but I’ve had a great four day weekend with you. But only a four day week and then it’s the weekend again, and Papa Bug has a rare full weekend off, and to top that off your Nana from London is coming up on Saturday. We can’t wait to see her. It’s been too long.

9 Months Old
Hey Lara Bug,
Feels like only two minutes ago I was taking photos of you in your moses basket, and now you’re 3 months from a year old! Damn!
You have a cold at the moment, so we didn’t want to put a camera in your face when you’re not feeling well. It’s Easter next weekend and got an idea for a fun photoshoot. It involves bunny ears and a giant carrot. Ha ha. You’ll just have to wait and see.

Awesome Mother’s Day
Hey Lara,
Since you Dad knows me so well, he kept is low key, with a beautiful personalised card and a personalised wooden star with a message from you on it. It now lives on the landing along with some beautiful gerberas.
We also got a Yoshi build-a-bear as your Mama loves that guy, with a little Mama t-shirt.
The day has been nice and relaxed, and your Dad is making me dinner as I type this. Thoroughly looking forward to it. You are currently upstairs sleeping soundly following you last feed. You will be out now until the morning. You are such a good girl. we love you so much!
Lyndsey was part of it as well, helping you make me a card, I have a little plant pot, which was decorated by you, which I have watered and patiently waiting for what’s coming. I also got a cute keyring.
Thank you to you, Daddy & Lyndsey for the thoughtful gifts and beautiful card. Making me feel so loved and appreciated.
